Workshop 2026 in Stuttgart

Our annual GRK 2948 Workshop 2026 in Stuttgart!

On the day, our members gathered at the Institute of Computational Physics at the University of Stuttgart.

We would like to sincerely thank our location host and invited speaker Christian Holm, as well as Stefan Weber, for sharing insights into their field of research. Short talks and poster presentations by our doctoral researchers provided a great opportunity to explore ongoing projects and connect across research areas. A special highlight was the interactive workshop by Dr. Lucas Kreuzer on self‑branding and science communication for researchers, which sparked many thoughtful conversations.

After an intense day of scientific exchange, an evening BBQ offered the perfect setting to continue conversations in a relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by several rounds of 'kicker' and table tennis.
